We thought Miley Cyrus' MTV VMAs drama felt familiar.
The 21-year-old singer has recruited Madonna for her "MTV Unplugged" special, and the star admits that she takes some inspirational cues from Madonna.
Madonna wants all of her critics to make a resolution to relax.
After the 55-year-old singer and mom of four posted an image of her 13-year-old son, Rocco, posing with a bottle of gin on Instagram, the pop legend was inundated with criticism that she was not only a poor parent, but also encouraging underage drinking.
It pays to be Madonna.
According to Forbes, the 55-year-old icon is still raking in millions, and earned enough in the past year to place her at the top of the magazine's list of the highest-earning celebrities.
Madonna's made her allegiance to President Obama's re-election campaign well-known - recall the tattoo she showed off not long ago - so it's not surprising that she rallied attendees at her MDNA concert stop in Washington, D.C., on Monday to vote for him.
The surprising part is the way she did it. In a video clip - which uses strong language, so be forewarned - Madonna touched on history and civil rights before telling her fans that they "better vote for f*****g Obama, OK? For better or for worse, alright, we have a black Muslim in the White House."
Australian fans have been left out of Madonna's MDNA tour, but the pop star said in a video posted on her website that she had to put her kids first.
"I just want to say to all of my Australian fans that I am really and truly sorry to have disappointed you, and that's something that I don't feel very good about," Madonna said. "I know the last time I was on tour I missed Australia as well, and I can promise you in my heart of hearts that it was my intention to come again, but, like the last time, my children are my first priority."
Although Elton John's sniped about Madonna's latest tour, likening her style to that of a "fairground stripper," Madge tried to take the high road at her tour stop in Nice, France, on Tuesday.
She even dedicated her song "Masterpiece" to Sir Elton, noting that "he's a big fan of it, and I know he's a big fan of mine."
