James Deen swears he's not sleeping with LiLoConsidering that Bret Easton Ellis' upcoming film "The Canyons" is expected to involve some steamy scenes, it wouldn't be surprising if the rumor mill churned out gossip about "Canyons" stars Lindsay Lohan and adult actor James Deen becoming intimate. But Deen, a.k.a. the prolific porn star known for looking like "the guy next door," swears in an interview that he and Lohan have been nothing but professional.

Lifetime releases first photo from 'Liz & Dick'If a picture's worth a thousand words, Lifetime's likely hoping that the first still from "Liz & Dick" vouches for its casting. The network began principal photography on Monday, and released the first official image from the film, although other unofficial photos have also been floating around. The black-and-white still shows Lindsay Lohan as the late Elizabeth Taylor, styled to convey plenty of old Hollywood glamour. Kissing her neck in the aptly passionate photo is Grant Bowler of "True Blood," in character as Taylor's storied partner and sometimes co-star Richard Burton.

'True Blood’ actor to star opposite Lohan in 'Liz & Dick'“True Blood’s” Grant Bowler will play Richard Burton in the Lifetime biopic “Liz & Dick,” according to Deadline. The report states that the actor, who played Cooter on HBO's vampire series, was cast a mere 10 days before filming is set to begin. He'll star alongside Lindsay Lohan’s Elizabeth Taylor in the flick, which will chronicle the highly publicized relationship between Burton and Taylor. The pair engaged in an affair in the early ‘60s. They eventually married … and then divorced … twice. Taylor and Burton appeared in many films together, including “Cleopatra,” “The Taming of the Shrew” and “Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” We wonder what Rosie O'Donnell thinks of the decision to cast Bowler as Burton…

What's the verdict: Lindsay Lohan on 'Glee'For the next stop on her "I'm making a comeback" tour, Lindsay Lohan made a guest appearance on "Glee's" two-hour episode on Tuesday ... as herself. Accompanied by fellow guest stars Perez Hilton and "Entourage's" Rex Lee to portray the judges panel at Nationals, Lohan explained to Hilton that she was there "because I care about young artists chasing their impossible dreams. I know them. I feel them. I was them. So I'm here to support them, unconditionally." That, and "is there anything better than someone making a comeback?" she inquired. (Don't answer that.)

Lindsay Lohan on Rosie's remarks: 'So intrusive'After Rosie O'Donnell remarked that Lindsay Lohan is neither right nor ready to play a young Liz Taylor in a Lifetime film, Lohan herself is questioning where O'Donnell's getting her info from. "It's funny that someone you don't know at all can say something so intrusive and so knowing," the 25-year-old actress told "Access Hollywood" Tuesday evening. O'Donnell told Matt Lauer on the "Today" show earlier that day that she feels "sorry" for Lohan, who's been cast as the late legend in Lifetime's "Liz & Dick."

Rosie O'Donnell: Lohan's not right for Liz Taylor roleLifetime execs may be among those who think that Lindsay Lohan is one of the "rare actresses" with the talent to play the late Elizabeth Taylor, but Rosie O'Donnell decidedly is not. To be fair, O'Donnell wasn't speaking on the topic of Lohan's casting randomly - Matt Lauer asked if she thought it was a "good idea" for Lohan to play a young Taylor on Tuesday's edition of the "Today" show. "I feel very sorry for her," O'Donnell said. "I think she needs a lot of help, she needs a lot of time away." |
