Lindsay Lohan is done with rehab - at the Betty Ford Center, anyway.
CNN Entertainment reports that the actress, 26, recently left the Rancho Mirage, California, clinic, and has moved to a different rehab center.
"Lindsay is grateful for the treatment she received at the Betty Ford Center," her attorney, Shawn Holley, said in a statement. "She has completed her course of treatment there and looks forward to continuing her treatment and building on the foundation established at Betty Ford."
According to TMZ, Lohan has transferred to the Cliffside Malibu drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in Malibu, California. Lohan is in the midst of a 90-day stint. She had a term of similar length at Betty Ford in 2010.
The oft-treated Lohan, who told CNN's Piers Morgan in May that she "could write the book on rehab" - she's had six court-ordered assignments, she said - had high hopes for success this time around.
"I look at it as a good thing," she said last month. "I can come back afterwards and be fully focused on work."
With so many naysayers, it’s nice to know that Lindsay Lohan’s colleagues have her back.
At the Hollywood premiere of “Scary Movie 5” on Thursday, Lohan’s co-stars told CNN that the actress is back on the right track.
One night after Lindsay Lohan opened up to David Letterman about her impending trip to rehab, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” also featured the actress – but only in spirit.
Lohan was a topic of conversation between Leno and her “Scary Movie 5” co-star, Charlie Sheen, who was on the show to promote his FX sitcom, “Anger Management,” and the fifth installment in the “Scary” franchise.
The idea of Lindsay Lohan appearing on "Letterman," with not much to promote but her recent plea deal, initially caused some to think it was another April Fool's joke. (She did try to pull a pregnancy prank, after all.)
But no, the Lohan appearance was really on the schedule, and the 26-year-old actress showed up as planned - even early! This being David Letterman, he didn't waste any time fooling with nonsense questions.
Wednesday was court day for Lindsay Lohan, but it was also a cause for celebration: her dad Michael Lohan welcomed a baby boy with Kate Major, CNN's confirmed.
Us Weekly and TMZ report that Major gave birth in a Florida hospital, and welcomed the new addition around 2:39 p.m. ET. His name is Landon Major Lohan, and he weighed in at seven pounds, five ounces.
It wouldn't appear that the festival circuit is loving "The Canyons," the now-infamous picture starring Lindsay Lohan and James Deen.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, SXSW passed on showing the film because of "quality issues," not long after TMZ reported that Sundance also wasn't interested.
