Whatever is going on in her personal life, Kristen Stewart doesn't appear to be hurting for work.
According to New York Magazine's Vulture, the 22-year-old actress has landed the lead in an adaptation of William Styron's "Lie Down in Darkness" - a coveted role that Oscar nominee Jennifer Lawrence once said she was dying to play.
Kristen Stewart’s love life may currently be in shambles, but at least her career is on fire.
And it may get even hotter now that “Magic Mike” star Alex Pettyfer is in final negotiations to play her love interest in the upcoming film “Cali.”
Kristen Stewart can count Lady Gaga among the celebs coming to her defense in the wake of a cheating scandal involving the "Twilight" star and a film director.
Gaga tweeted some words of sympathy for Stewart and her co-star/boyfriend Robert Pattinson on Wednesday, not long after Stewart publicly apologized to Pattinson for her fling with filmmaker Rupert Sanders. Sanders, who helmed Stewart's "Snow White and the Huntsman," is married with two kids.
Eyebrows are raising throughout Hollywood as rumors allege that “Twilight” franchise star Kristen Stewart had a dalliance outside of her reported relationship with "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson.
People magazine as well as Us Weekly are citing anonymous sources who claim that the 22-year-old had a recent fling with her “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders. Sanders is said to be married with two kids.
If you can't appreciate the "Snow White" story, Kristen Stewart's a little concerned.
The 22-year-old actress, who stars as the fair princess in this weekend's "Snow White and the Huntsman," told CNN that she can't imagine why someone wouldn't be able to enjoy the "Snow White" tale, seeing that it's lasted through generations.
"It's so completely fundamental I think you would have to be kind of a sociopath not to connect to the story," Stewart said. "It's about being good, it's about being a part of a whole and sort of valuing more than your looks."
It’s not quite a surprise, but the latest "Twilight" movie’s box office take is impressive nonetheless: “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part I” has raked in more than $508 million worldwide, the BBC reports.
According to the film’s distributor, Summit Entertainment, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are drawing considerable crowds.
Out of the worldwide gross, $223 million was made in North American movie theaters, and “Breaking Dawn - Part 1” is the top movie in the UK and the US after its second week in theaters.
