The awkward VMAs moment you were hoping for has been avoidedWhile even host Kevin Hart was hoping that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart would end up in the same room together at tonight's MTV Video Music Awards, it's not going to happen. Stewart's rep tells us that the 22-year-old actress will be on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival tonight supporting the screening of her film, "On the Road." Pattinson, meanwhile, will be left to introduce a clip from his upcoming movie with Stewart, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" with his other co-star, Taylor Lautner. Well, so much for that. But as Hart told us earlier this week, this is the VMAs - the one thing you should expect is the unexpected. What are you hoping to see tonight? The fun begins with a red carpet pre-show at 7 p.m. ET.

Overheard: Kristen Stewart on fameKristen Stewart is famous enough to command a cover on Vogue U.K. - a first for the "Twilight Saga" star - but the 22-year-old still hasn't figured out how to handle the glare of the spotlight. Although Vogue doesn't make it clear when the interview was held, it's fair to say Stewart's fame has only intensified, thanks to a private matter going very, very public. And being in the public eye, the actress says, is not at all her strong point.

Casting Chronicles: Rachel Dratch, Robert Pattinson and more!With Tina Fey on “30 Rock,” Amy Poehler on “Parks and Recreation” and Maya Rudolph on “Up All Night,” we’ve been crossing our fingers for some sort of “Saturday Night Live” reunion on NBC. Learning that former “SNL” cast member Rachel Dratch will appear on an upcoming episode of “Up All Night” will tide us over for now.

Kristen Stewart lands a new role?Whatever is going on in her personal life, Kristen Stewart doesn't appear to be hurting for work. According to New York Magazine's Vulture, the 22-year-old actress has landed the lead in an adaptation of William Styron's "Lie Down in Darkness" - a coveted role that Oscar nominee Jennifer Lawrence once said she was dying to play.

Kristen Stewart's scandal gets Gaga's sympathy, but fan's ireKristen Stewart can count Lady Gaga among the celebs coming to her defense in the wake of a cheating scandal involving the "Twilight" star and a film director. Gaga tweeted some words of sympathy for Stewart and her co-star/boyfriend Robert Pattinson on Wednesday, not long after Stewart publicly apologized to Pattinson for her fling with filmmaker Rupert Sanders. Sanders, who helmed Stewart's "Snow White and the Huntsman," is married with two kids. |
