Jennifer Aniston’s performance in the movie “The Break-Up” was a heartfelt one: The actress says on “Inside the Actors Studio” that she drew from her real-life split from Brad Pitt for the role.
The 2006 movie, co-starring Vince Vaughn, “was a beautiful human story about a couple breaking up,” Aniston tells the Bravo show’s host, James Lipton. “And I was slightly familiar on the topic and the issue, and I honestly felt like, what a great way to exorcise some of that.”
If anything, she adds, her personal break-up made her job easier.
Chelsea Handler has never been shy about cutting celebrities down a few notches, but the comedian insists she reserves her tongue-lashings for those who truly deserve it.
"I only have talked about people that I think are acting irresponsibly or are making fools of themselves," she tells the Hollywood Reporter. "There's no reason to talk about Reese Witherspoon. I've never talked about those people and anyone I've become friends with. I'm not going to be friends with them if they're idiots in the first place."
This might explain why Handler recently warned her good friend Jennifer Aniston not to associate with fellow E! network stars the Kardashians.
"Jennifer said she saw the Kardashians at dinner last night. She was like, 'They're nice,'" recalls Handler. "And I said: 'Don't get photographed with the Kardashians!' People will blame me for it!"
Looks like former "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston has made a new pal.
On Wednesday night, the actress was spotted out on the town with "Your Highness" star Justin Theroux at L.A.'s Sunset Towers Tower Bar. Though X17online reported that the duo were on a "romantic dinner date" and are now an item, Aniston's spokesperson says that couldn't be further from the truth.
"What X17 neglected to mention was that there were three other people at the dinner," the rep told Us Weekly. "It was a friends dinner."
Jennifer Aniston and a few other famous females are teaming up to make a movie that makes a difference.
Singer Alicia Keys, actress Demi Moore and filmmaker Patty Jenkins will all join the former "Friends" star as directors on the Lifetime Original Movie "Project Five," the network has announced.
The movie is a collection of humorous and dramatic short films that explore the impact of breast cancer on people's lives, from the way diagnosis affects relationships to how those diagnosed perceive themselves.
Jennifer Aniston pulls out all the stops for her latest SmartWater campaign, employing every cliché from adorable puppies to dancing babies to ensure the video becomes an Internet sensation.
"Hi, I'm Jen Aniston and I'm here to talk to you about SmartWater," she says in introducing the nearly three-minute clip. "But in this day and age, apparently, I can't just do that, can I? ...I have to make a video, apparently, that, um, turns into a virus."
"Viral," one of three men holding iPads and other tablets, tells her. "We need the video to go viral."
It's not even summer yet, but the stars are already showing up with cropped tops.
Following in the footsteps of the Bieb, Jennifer Aniston has been spotted with a new, shorter hairdo.
Appearing Tuesday at an event in Madrid to promote her film "Just Go With It," Aniston sported a shoulder-length, honey blonde mane. This from a star who is as well known for her various coifs as she is her roles.
