Baby on the way for Van Der BeekJust a year after becoming parents to daughter Olivia last September, James Van Der Beek and wife Kimberly Brook are expecting baby No. 2. The 34-year-old actor tweeted Tuesday, "Just when we thought we couldn't feel any more blessed, it seems the universe has plans to give our daughter a sibling... #humbled." Van Der Beek will be balancing becoming a father of two with work on his new show, "Don't Trust the B-– in Apt. 23." (Yes, the "Bitch" in the title is back, albeit with dashes.) The ABC mid-season program will debut next year.

Jennifer Aniston buys pricey painting for Haiti?According to Us Weekly, Jennifer Aniston is quite the altruistic art lover. The actress reportedly made a hefty donation to help Haiti rebuild, buying a painting at Christie’s Artists for Haiti auction for $450,000. Justin Theroux, 40, reportedly did the bidding on behalf of girlfriend Aniston, 42, landing an abstract piece by American artist Glenn Ligon at the charity auction Thursday. Jen wound up with "Stranger #44," a large oil, charcoal and graphite piece on canvas, estimated at $150,000 to $200,000.

Brad Pitt: Jen Aniston wasn't dull, I wasBrad Pitt would like to clear a few things up. In an interview with Parade magazine, Pitt reflects on what life was like in the '90s. He tells the mag that he spent a lot of time "trying to hide out" and escape the "full celebrity cacophony." His hide-out process, he said, involved sitting on the couch with a joint in his hand, and eventually he started to feel "pathetic." Here's where his ex Jennifer Aniston comes in: Pitt tells Parade that "It became very clear to me...that I wasn’t living an interesting life myself...I think that my marriage [to actress Jennifer Aniston] had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t."

Jennifer Aniston still talking about that 'Break-Up'Jennifer Aniston’s performance in the movie “The Break-Up” was a heartfelt one: The actress says on “Inside the Actors Studio” that she drew from her real-life split from Brad Pitt for the role. The 2006 movie, co-starring Vince Vaughn, “was a beautiful human story about a couple breaking up,” Aniston tells the Bravo show’s host, James Lipton. “And I was slightly familiar on the topic and the issue, and I honestly felt like, what a great way to exorcise some of that.” If anything, she adds, her personal break-up made her job easier.

Chelsea Handler to Jennifer Aniston: Stay away from KardashiansChelsea Handler has never been shy about cutting celebrities down a few notches, but the comedian insists she reserves her tongue-lashings for those who truly deserve it. "I only have talked about people that I think are acting irresponsibly or are making fools of themselves," she tells the Hollywood Reporter. "There's no reason to talk about Reese Witherspoon. I've never talked about those people and anyone I've become friends with. I'm not going to be friends with them if they're idiots in the first place." This might explain why Handler recently warned her good friend Jennifer Aniston not to associate with fellow E! network stars the Kardashians. "Jennifer said she saw the Kardashians at dinner last night. She was like, 'They're nice,'" recalls Handler. "And I said: 'Don't get photographed with the Kardashians!' People will blame me for it!" |
