Lohan's done with probation, but what about her career?

Lindsay Lohan is off probation, and it looks like she'll be back at work soon. But some, thinking back on her past history, are watching to see how long it's going to last.

Before she sobered up, Lohan was having trouble holding on to a job: It's been reported she lost out on chances to play Victoria Gotti and Linda Lovelace.

There's also the problem of work permits. Lohan's legal troubles delayed her from getting a permit to work in Canada until hours after her court appearance on Thursday. Officials have granted her a permit to work in Toronto, where she'll film her role as Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime TV movie "Liz and Dick."

Inside Elizabeth Taylor's $8.6 million Bel Air estate

You may not be able to afford Elizabeth Taylor's recently listed $8.6 million Bel Air home, but you can take a tour of the late legend's estate, thanks to the July issue of Architectural Digest.

Colin Farrell on pal Elizabeth Taylor: I miss her

Colin Farrell may have seemed like an unlikely guest at Elizabeth Taylor's funeral last week, but the Irish actor and the Hollywood icon were actually good pals.

"How did we become friends? You know, the old story of boy meets girl, and boy pesters girl with too many phone calls at inappropriate hours of the night," Farrell joked to "Access Hollywood." "I was just lucky enough to become her friend in the last year and a half. I adore her … still."

Taylor was also a big fan of Farrell. In an interview published in the March issue of Harper's Bazaar, the movie legend dished about today's crop of leading men. "I love Johnny Depp, and I love Colin Farrell — both brilliant, nuanced actors with great range," she said.

Celebrities remember Elizabeth Taylor

As Elizabeth Taylor's family prepares for a private funeral to be held later this week, fans and friends all paused to pay respects to the legendary actress and humanitarian, who died Wednesday at the age of 79.

"RIP Elizabeth Taylor," the titles of her films "National Velvet" and "Cleopatra," and the name of her iconic fragrance "White Diamonds," all immediately surfaced on Twitter as word spread that the Oscar winner had passed. "RIP Dame Elizabeth Taylor.....Like a pure white diamond you'll shine on and on and on," wrote singer and actress Kylie Minogue.

"RIP Dame Elizabeth Taylor, surely the last of a breed," actor and writer Stephen Fry tweeted, a sentiment Questlove of the Roots seconded. "Man. End of an era," the musician wrote. "Liz has gone to keep MJ company. RIP."
