Drew Barrymore is joining the parade of celebs who've decided to head toward the altar. The 36-year-old actress is engaged to art consultant Will Kopelman, her rep tells CNN.
According to E!, the two have been dating for almost a year and got engaged over the holidays. Kopelman reportedly asked for Barrymore's hand in marriage while they were on a 10-day vacation in Sun Valley, Idaho.
This'll be the third wedding for Barrymore, who was previously married to Tom Green for five months after their 1999 nuptials, and to club owner Jeremy Thomas for less than two months in 1994.
You can see the sparkler, which People magazine reports is a radiant-cut diamond just under four carats, here.
We’re not sure if it was her newly red hair that turned heads at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C., or her walking hand-in-hand with Sean Penn. Either way, Scarlett Johansson knows how to make an entrance.
The formerly blonde actress has sported red locks before, as she did for her role in 2010’s “Iron Man 2.”
And Johansson is just one of the leading ladies channeling Lucille Ball and Jessica Rabbit - among other notable Hollywood gingers - of late.
Count Drew Barrymore as another celeb who isn’t enamored with technology.
The star of the upcoming romantic comedy “Going the Distance” admitted to Nylon magazine that she just doesn’t think technology has made staying in touch any easier.
“Ironically, with all this, ‘We’re now more connected than ever with technology,’ I don’t think we’ve ever been farther apart,” Barrymore said in the magazine’s August issue. “I think it’s bull[expletive]. Everyone feels more connected but they’re weirdly disconnected.”
She's an actress, producer and Cover Girl, but it wasn't until recently that Drew Barrymore could say that she was a movie director. That is no longer the case. The 34-year-old star celebrated her directorial debut, "Whip It" at this year's Toronto Film Festival. The coming-of-age story set against the fast-paced world of all-female roller derby was met with a roar of applause and laughter at last night's red carpet premiere. The sounds must have been music to the ears of the 34-year-old star who called the project a three-year labor of love.
Just before the film began Barrymore took a few minutes to address the crowd and introduce her cast. She was clearly proud of them, the mix included Oscar-winner Marcia Gay Harden, Juliette Lewis, Kristen Wiig, Eve and the film's protagonist, Canadian Ellen Page.
Barrymore, Page and several others, including myself, then went on to Tattoo Rock Parlor, a Toronto nightclub. The party there featured girls dressed in green "Hurl Scout" uniforms from the film as well as airbrushed tattoos, greasy finger foods and an open bar. It must have been a talkative night for Barrymore – who spent much of the evening sitting next to her on-again, off-again, currently on-again boyfriend, Justin Long, because she ended up having to cancel our sit-down interview scheduled for today due to laryngitis.
