'Better Call Saul' gets a trailer, and more news to note

Today's talk you might've missed:

  • Better call all of your "Breaking¬† Bad" viewing party pals - we now have our first look at the spinoff series, "Better Call Saul." It looks like it's slated to debut in early 2015.
  • Prepare to be twice as paranoid. "Homeland's" season four premiere on October 5 is going to be a double hitter with two back-to-back episodes. [THR]
  • It's completely time for Emma Stone to give her regards to Broadway! The actress is in talks to make her Broadway debut in "Cabaret," and, if all works out, she'd take over for Michelle Williams in the production starting November 9. [NYT]
  • "How I Met Your Mother" isn't on the air anymore, but there's still a place where you can "suit up" with regularity. USA has renewed its series "Suits" for a fifth season. [EW]
  • Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley may not be together anymore, but she's still his "Uptown Girl," apparently:
