Kristen Bell doesn't just talk about being confident. She's proving it in the May issue of Allure magazine.
The 33-year-old is a known advocate for body positivity - upon the birth of her daughter, she explicitly sat out of the post-baby weight loss race - and now she's showing just how positive she is about her own physique by posing nude in Allure.
""I talk a big game about being comfortable in my skin. I wanted to put my money where my mouth was," Bell says, adding that she's not worried about negative reactions to her decision. "I hope it's not misinterpreted, but that's too big of a problem for me to actually think about."
As far as her favorite body part, it turns out Bell is a "buns" girl.
"Buns and cakes. On anybody. Not just my own. I mean, I'm a fan of my own buns. I'm very happy with the amount that I've been given, and I often attempt to sculpt them into something more than what I've been given," she says. "But I notice other people's buns quite a bit."
The "Veronica Mars" star probably can't help but notice Jenna Dewan-Tatum's ... well, everything, as she's one of the other actresses who took it all off for the magazine's annual "Nudes" feature, along with Minnie Driver and Nia Long.
Dewan-Tatum, who also recently welcomed her first child, says her husband, Channing Tatum, was A-OK with her plan to strip down.
"Chan was really on board with it," Dewan-Tatum says. "he knows I'm very comfortable in my own skin. ... You sort of lose all modesty as a dancer. I also think it's just the way I came out. I've always been free-spirited, and it was hard to keep clothes on me as a kid."
Dewan-Tatum's relaxed attitude about nudity came in handy when she was dancing backup with Janet Jackson, who, according to the actress, likes to unwind in strip clubs.
"I danced with Janet Jackson, and we toured around the world. I don't know what it was, but she just really liked going to strip clubs," the 33-year-old reveals. "She's probably like, 'Thanks, Jenna, for telling the world I go to strip clubs.'"
The May issue of Allure arrives on newsstands April 29.
It's easy to put your money where your mouth is when you look that good a couple of months after having a kid... actually it's a little condescending to women who do choose to be in the weight loss race... which 90% do and personally, if they want to be in that race to make themselves feel good I dunno where Kirsten Bell gets off telling them it's bad.
mmmmmmm broads ghghghghghghhhhhhhhhh
