'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles': Watch the teaser

OK, breathe deeply everyone: We're now going to see just what Michael Bay has produced with his live-action spin on the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."

In 2012, Bay announced that he was rebooting the classic characters and changing their backstory as baby turtles who mutate into warriors, much to the outrage of fans.

Two years later, we have a first look at the upcoming action film with a 90-second teaser trailer. While the first promo image is of Megan Fox as the reporter April O'Neil, the clip gives us a great look at Donatello (Jeremy Howard), Michelangelo (Noel Fisher), Raphael (Alan Ritchson) and Leonardo (Pete Ploszek).

Oops! J. Lo lets 'F-bomb' fly on 'Idol'

Jennifer Lopez was a little too "Real" in her critique of an "American Idol" contestant on Wednesday night.

Fox's fake prince dating show, and more news to note

Today's talk you might've missed:

  • Want to marry Prince Harry? That's too bad, because it's not going to happen. To make you feel better, Fox has conjured up a reality show called "I Wanna Marry 'Harry,'" in which 12 American women were lured to an estate in England to compete for a man they were led to believe is Prince Harry, but is really just a Harry lookalike. [NYMag's Vulture]
  • Some of you just can't "Let it Go." "Frozen" is still dominating the music charts, as it claims its seventh week at No. 1 and its biggest sales week yet. [Billboard]
  • We're pretty convinced there's nothing Benedict Cumberbatch can't do, and that includes playing Hamlet on the stage. [BBC]
  • According to Robin Thicke, he and his estranged wife Paula Patton are "very happy right now," which makes us wonder if he realizes they're still separated. [People]
  • Gird yourselves, Hamptons homeowners: Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian are headed to your town with a new reality show. [Time]
  • We really hope that the latest buzz on the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie is merely misinformed. If we wanted a movie "more about romance than raunch," we'd make it a Netflix night. [Cosmo]
  • Louis C.K.'s "SNL" promos, because we adore him:

Shakira: What's the verdict on her new album?

Shakira's new album is going to expand her "Empire" according to critics who've taken it for a spin.

The self-titled release, led by a duet with Rihanna called "Can't Remember to Forget You" and the aforementioned sultry single, arrived on Tuesday.

There are some undeniable hits, and some very noticeable misses as the Colombian superstar stretches herself with producers like Dr. Luke and Max Martin. The mostly English-language disc packs an array of styles in its 12-tracks, from rock to reggae to a hint of country thanks to a much-despised pairing with Blake Shelton. At one point, the 37-year-old's son with Spanish athlete Gerard Piqué, Milan, makes a guest appearance.
