"Rizzoli & Isles" lost one of its own last summer when Lee Thompson Young took his life at 29.
Now, as the show concludes its fourth season and prepares for a fifth, it's figured out how it wants to say goodbye to the young actor.
The detective series aired its season four finale on Tuesday night and declined to live tweet it out of respect for Thompson Young, according to executive producer Jan Nash.
Thompson Young, who gained fame on Disney's "The Famous Jett Jackson," was found dead in his Los Angeles home in August. Up until his death, he was portraying Detective Barry Frost on the TNT drama. (TNT shares a parent company with CNN.)
According to Deadline, Thompson Young died while in production on the second-to-last episode. The series went on to wrap the fourth season, with plans to address his passing with the start of season five.
"Hope you enjoyed @RizzoliIslesTNT season 4 finale," star Angie Harmon tweeted. "Season 5 eps 1&2 address our beloved Lee w/ love, honor & respect."
