Katie Holmes is returning to TV, and more news to note

Today's talk you might've missed:

  • Katie Holmes is joining every other actress in Hollywood (give or take a half dozen) and is planning to move from movies back to TV. She's set to star in an upcoming ABC pilot not unlike "Dangerous Liasions." [TVLine]
  • Jared Leto isn't convinced that Jennifer Lawrence is legitimately accident-prone. Commenting on the star's second fall for the second year in a row at the Oscars, he said, "You know, I"m starting to wonder if this is not an act." [Access Hollywood]

Isaiah Washington to return to 'Grey's Anatomy'

When Sandra Oh says goodbye to "Grey's Anatomy" this spring, she'll do it with an old co-star by her side.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, former "Grey's" star Isaiah Washington is returning to the series in a May episode, reprising his role of Dr. Preston Burke.

Tom Brokaw's 'very pleased' with progress in cancer fight

Everyone's hearts broke in February when news veteran Tom Brokaw revealed that he was fighting cancer, but the good news is that Brokaw is upbeat about his progress.

On "The Late Show with David Letterman" Thursday night, the former NBC News anchor said that he's been "very pleased" with the way his treatment is going, although he didn't want to say much more than that.

Ke$ha leaves rehab, 'happy to be back'

Ke$ha is back at work after spending two months receiving treatment for an eating disorder.

On Thursday, the singer posted a photo of herself on an airplane, announcing that she's ready to dive back in to her career.
