Jimmy Kimmel and MTV's Sway might want to take notes from Seth Meyers. It seems the new "Late Night" host knows how to get the sometimes volatile Kanye West to show his softer side.
The rapper and new dad appeared on Meyers' talk show on Tuesday night, and it was nothing but smiles, laughter and some remixed classics from West's catalogue.
Meyers did have something on his side: a fun history with West from his appearances on "Saturday Night Live."
Thanks to that bond, West opened up about how his daughter North, who'll be a year-old in June, has impacted his artistic perspective.
"My approach to life, she's changed it," West said," adding that he's considering creating "artistic, intellectual, kid-friendly songs. You go to Europe, there's nudity on TV. So it's all in the way you raise and have an understanding and appreciation for what you're looking at and what you're hearing and why you're hearing it."
Meyers made his guest so comfortable, West even obliged the audience with a masterful set that spanned some of his biggest songs, like "Jesus Walks," "Heartless," "All of the Lights" and "Touch the Sky," which you can view here.
