First, the bad news: FX's top-notch drama"Justified" is going to end with its sixth season.
The network announced the news at its Television Critics Association panel on Tuesday, but smoothly countered with some good news: two new pilots are in the works, one starring Michael Cera and the other starring Zach Galifianakis.
Cera's pilot, "How and Why," will be written by Charlie Kaufman. Also starring John Hawkes (we know, we're sold already too), "How and Why" will follow a man who's brilliant when it comes to science but is lost in life.
According to Variety, Kaufman's going to both write and direct the half-hour pilot, which is expected to begin shooting in North Carolina in the spring.
"Hangover" star Galifianakis, meanwhile, is cooking up a comedy with FX darling Louis C.K. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Galifianakis star in and executive produce the still-untitled project, which will be co-written by C.K.
Although details on that comedy were slim, FX did confirm that the return of "Louie" isn't too far away. The fourth season of the comedy will premiere after a long hiatus in May.
