Readers' Favorites: Pick your top movies of 2013

TV had our rapt attention this year, but 2013 still had a number of fine films.

While most of them have premiered over the past few weeks and/or have yet to open across the country, there's already consensus that flicks like "American Hustle," "Her," "12 Years A Slave" and "Gravity" are going to last long after this year is over.

If you had to pick your favorite films of 2013, what would you choose? Vote for up to 10 titles by noon E.T. on December 18, and then check back the week of December 23 for the results.

"Blue Jasmine" is excellent. None of the other films on the list are films I was ever consider seeing.

Blackfish is going to be one of the most important movies ever made. Many people have seen it, and will never go to another aquarium that keeps killer whales in too small tanks where they die a premature death.
The naysayers hate the film, but, Sea World will not go on TV to debate their side of the story. They will not argue their point of view, because the death rate of orcas in aquariums prove them wrong.

Gravity is the most overrated movie out this year. Sandra Bullock's performance Oscar-worthy? Really? Aside from the special effects there was nothing Oscar worthy about that movie. I love movies about space, etc. But this one and her performance did nothing for me.
