Taylor Swift is definitely one of pop's princesses, so it makes sense that her version of a karaoke night involves other royals.
At a charity event in London Tuesday, the country star joined Jon Bon Jovi and Prince William on stage for a sing-a-long.
The chosen tune? "Livin' on a Prayer," since a) Bon Jovi was there and b) it's apparently one of Prince William's favorite songs.
“I think he's very fond of singing ‘Living on a Prayer,’" Bon Jovi told reporters before taking the stage. "I know I've read that in the papers before." (Now we're envisioning him singing the '80s classic to his son, Prince George, as a lullaby.)
You might think that this combination would be more hilarious than sonically enjoyable, but the prince isn't half bad.
As for Swift, the 24-year-old couldn't help but preserve the moment on Instagram (and really, who can blame her?):
The only thing this performance is missing, in our humble opinion, is Prince William's wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and the actual Prince. Hopefully next time they'll be recruited for a rendition of "When Doves Cry."
