Selena Gomez may be single, but the one-night-stand life just isn't for her.
The 21-year-old singer/actress tells Teen Vogue that she's tempted after heartbreak (hmm - could this be a quiet nod to ex Justin Bieber?) to fully embrace being single, but in the end, she's a relationship type of girl.
“You fall in love and it completely consumes you," Gomez tells the magazine in its December/January issue. "So a part of you is broken when that’s gone. And part of you wants to have that rebellious feeling where you’re just like, forget it - I can do anything I want. I’ve tried it, and I’ve never been that girl. I’m always going to be the girl you want to take home to your parents, not for the night.”
That's not to say that Gomez isn't making the most of her solo status. While out on her new tour, she's been embracing her independence, as she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show Tuesday.
"I think it's been good for me to actually do it all on my own this time," she said. "It's been great for me to just go without my parents, and being single, and being me, it's been great. ... Don't get me wrong, if a guy actually has the courage to ask me out, maybe I would. But I'm old-fashioned, I like when the guy comes to me."
