Pearl Jam's at No. 1, and more news to note

Today's talk you might've missed:

  • In between the lady domination on Billboard's charts - Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Lorde have been representing this fall - Pearl Jam snuck in a No. 1 debut. The rockers' latest, "Lightning Bolt," opened this week at the top of the Billboard 200. Paul McCartney didn't do so bad, either. [Billboard]
  • When's "Sherlock" returning to PBS' "Masterpiece"? That mystery's been solved. Benedict Cumberbatch and his impeccable reasoning skills will be back for a third season on January 19. [EW]
  • In case the billowing shirts and clearly rounding tummy didn't give it away already, Gwen Stefani's pregnant again:
  • Less evident is what exactly is going on between former "Smash" star Katharine McPhee and the guy who directed the defunct series, Michael Morris. Between the photo of the two kissing, the acknowledgement that both are thought to be married, and the rumor that McPhee maybe isn't anymore, we just want to hand the whole kit and kaboodle over to Olivia Pope. [People]
  • Also, someone wake us when Clint Eastwood and Dina Eastwood figure out whether they want to reconcile or get a divorce. [GossipCop]
  • Kimye Marriage Proposal 2013: There's now a video. (Go ahead and watch it. There's no shame here.) [TMZ]
  • Here's more adorableness, if you can handle it: Kelly Clarkson has a video of her own, this one of her wedding.

@ Acorn: Me thinks you have drank too much of the Koolaid. I say dig Reagan up. Best president in my life. Yeah Clinton sucked too

    • Huh?

Clinton sucked? If I recall correctly, we had an economic boom under Clinton. Unemployment was extremely low. He brought the deficit down to the positive. People made money hand over fist. You Republicans sure do have a short memory. What did Reagan do? Raised taxes at least 9 times. Trickle down economics, never made it to the middle class or to the poor. Yeah, he was really good.

Palin doesn't keep her mouth shut and acts like she is justified in her actions.

The weekend is approaching and Sarah Palin is once again looking forward to reveling in her own enema juices. She claims it keeps her skin looking young.

0bama, our nation's historic first black president, has brought unprecedented prosperity, harmony, and respect for the United States abroad. History will record him as the gallant champion of socialism and making the rich pay their fasir share.

The rich already pay more taxes than the rest. Prosperity? Respect for the US? Where have you been getting your news? You got one thing right. He is without a doubt a socialist. The worst thing to happen to America ever.

    • I'm ticked at the GOP

I would just like to personally thank the Republicant party for taking 24 billion dollars out of the recovering economy for absolutely nothing. Yes, moron, things are much better than they were under Bush. Ppl are getting back to work. Remember, we were bleeding jobs at 750,000 per month at the end of Bush's administration. The stock market is soaring, my 401K has recouped all the money lost, and is now making pretty good money. Ppl can now get affordable health care. I'm doing it, going to save thousands of $$ a year. Exactly, what have the Republicants done to help this country recover or advance? They are the party of nothing. John Boehner is the worst speaker of the house that has ever been. His only agenda is to defund Obamacare. How many times have they tried? Over 30 times. Hate to tell you this, but Obamacare is law, and the Supreme Court held it up as law. Obamacare was part of the last presidential election. Hey, who won on that? The majority of Americans want affordable healthcare. Just shameful that the Republicants don't want the middle class and the poor to have healthcare that they can actually afford. They are wasting valuable time that they could be putting into doing something positive for this country. Well, that's ok. They are ensuring that Hillary Clinton will be the next president of the US, and with a little luck, we will take back the house. The American ppl will not forget what you Republicants have done to this country. Do you read the polls?

Indeed I have seen Pearl Jam in person Peace. Numerous times as a matter of fact. Several times in San Francisco. Once on their home turf at a place called "the gorge" outside of Seattle. Once in Chicago and several more times in St. Louis. Safe to say I love going to their concerts. A 15 carat ring for Kim Kartrashian eh? Hopefully it was 15 a ss carats. And never say never I say. Surprising things can happen. So you never know. :)
