Curl up with Ben & Jerry's new "Ron Burgundy" approved ice cream, if you please, and check out the new trailer for "Anchorman: The Legend Continues."
In a release that's timed as only savvy marketing execs know how, the official trailer for December's "Anchorman" sequel has been unveiled just as Ben & Jerry's announces its new "Scotchy Scotch Scotch" flavor of butterscotch-with-butterscotch swirls goodness. (Sorry, the limited edition Scotchy Scotch Scotch doesn't contain any actual alcohol.)
But while the new Ben & Jerry's flavor should start appearing over the next few weeks, the "Anchorman" sequel won't bow until December 20. Judging from the new official trailer, we can look forward to plenty of inappropriate humor and Steve Carell bringing his A game as Brick Tamland.
After staying classy in San Diego, Ron Burgundy's news team is back in action and headed for a major cable news network in the Big Apple. Following a harrowing journey during which Ron learns what cruise control really means, the crew is on a mission to be No. 1 again. Possibly this time with perms.
In case you missed it, here's the official trailer that also includes a Harrison Ford cameo:
