What Rashida Jones is tired of, and more news to note

  • Maybe Rashida Jones is trying to get her own "The Soup"-esque recap show. The "Parks and Recreation" actress summed up last week's Hollywood news in a few eyebrow-raising tweets. She doesn't name names, but she does call them. [Rashida Jones' Twitter]
  • Speaking of "Parks and Recreation," NBC has made some quiet adjustments to its calendar. "Community" is officially returning in January, but "Parks and Rec" has been put on hold until November 14, while new shows "Ironside" and "Welcome to the Family" are gone for good.
  • For some reason, Johnny Depp has decided to give blond hair a whirl. We're going to blame it on Kim Kardashian, since ... [E!]

Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift are edging in on Justin Bieber's #MusicMondays.

For the past few weeks, Bieber has been dutifully releasing a new song every Monday as part of a 10-week series that's leading up to the December 25 release of his new documentary, "Believe." First came "Heartbreaker," then "All That Matters," and now the sultry "Hold Tight":

Carol Burnett honored with top comedy prize

Carol Burnett is the latest comedy legend to be honored with the prestigious Mark Twain prize for American Humor.

The 80-year-old trailblazer, whose "Carol Burnett Show" won 25 Emmys during its 11-year run in the 60s and 70s, received the Mark Twain prize at Washington D.C.'s Kennedy Center on Sunday night.

Halloween came early for Sandra Bullock and her son Louis over the weekend.

The 49-year-old actress slipped into character as a ghoulish skeleton dressed in a gown to match her three-year-old son's spiffy skeleton costume.
