Lee Thompson Young's memory will be honored at one of Hollywood's most legendary locations.
It's the same location where his latest TV series, "Rizzoli & Isles," is taped.
Young, 29, got his start on Disney's "The Famous Jett Jackson," and also appeared in feature films like "Friday Night Lights" and "Akeelah and the Bee."
"Rizzoli & Isles" executive producer Janet Tamaro said in a statement that the cast and crew "are beyond heartbroken at the loss of this sweet, gentle, good-hearted, intelligent man. He was truly a member of our family."
Instead of flowers, Young's family has requested that donations be made to the Young Storytellers Foundation, an organization that works with under-served kids. According to the organization, all donations made in Young's name will go toward at-risk fifth-graders in the Script to Stage program at New York City's P.S. 140.
