Lady Gaga has suffered yet another leak as her duet with Cher, "The Greatest Thing," has popped up online.
The superstar weathered similar drama over the weekend when her latest single "Applause" - the first from her new album "ARTPOP" - began circulating a week ahead of schedule. On Monday, Gaga declared a "pop music emergency" and went ahead and released the song in full.
It doesn't look like she's planning to do the same with "The Greatest Thing," though. On Tuesday, Cher was cursing up a storm on Twitter over the apparently unauthorized release.
"Just heard TGT ! F***!" the legend wailed. "IT’S NOT EVEN THE RIGHT F*****G VERSION!!! WHY DO PPL THINK THIS KINDA LEAKING S*** IS OK ! I’m so Fg DISSAPOINTED."
When one of her Twitter followers accused Cher of leaking "The Greatest Thing" herself, she swore "hand to God" that it wasn't her.
"DO U THINK I WOULD DO THIS TO A FELLOW ARTIST,& 1 I RESPECT AS MUCH AS GAGA??" she said. "Ive Sat on (this) song 4 over a yr )NOW SOME A*****E LEAKS WRONG VERSION ! GaGa’s SINGLE IS GREAT, & THAT’S ALL THAT MATTERS."
We guess Gaga's earlier threats weren't quite scary enough. She tweeted Saturday to fellow star Katy Perry, whose single "Roar" made its own early entry online, "Wanna grab some shovels and f*** up some hackers?"
The Mother Monster has yet to address the latest leak crisis, but we understand that she's in the middle of a promotional blitz at the moment:
