Thanks to Jimmy Fallon, song of the summer "Blurred Lines" has been taken back to the old school.
Actually, scratch that - it's more like a return to elementary.
With The Roots pitching in, Fallon and "Blurred Lines" crooner Robin Thicke dusted off the kiddie xylophone and other childhood favorites for an ever-so-slightly less risqué cover of the controversial tune. (Did you miss the memo on why some dislike "Blurred Lines"? Check out the video above.)
Thicke's falsetto is just as beguiling a cappella as it is on the record, although those blurred lines are still tripping him up.
"Late Night" host Fallon, meanwhile, is becoming a pro at playing classroom instruments. He's previously rounded them up for renditions of "Call Me Maybe" with Carly Rae Jepsen and "All I Want for Christmas Is You" with Mariah Carey, a group of adorable kids and an enviable set of holiday-themed sweaters.
… Unbelievable…wow… My friend Maggie has just married to a handsome wealthy man. They met through ~ ~ SèèkingRich.Çoм~~ They told me it is a Specialist millionaire dating for rich single s seeking relationships, friendships, dating ,love and more.. So, if you want to look for people with which you can date, you are at the right place. You can meet(lawyers, busy professionals, benefactors. models, celebrities, etc….)If you are single, perhaps you can have a try.
not to make you any more paranoid than you already are, but I do mean everybody. It's the trolling, Midge. And the Crocs.
Robin isn't so big and Thicke where it matters...
Who cares i just want too jump him...
daz cuz your shallow, Midge, with bad taste in men. You can always pick a loser, can't you?
my robin wears crocs and i would like too give him a squish before he goes with Disney World..
Two things, Midge:
1) if you're not talking about the article at hand (as per usual), stay the f-ck off the blog; that's why everyone hates you trolls - it's because you carry on off-topic conversations amongst your troll-selves that does nothing but clog up the blog. Take your moronic commentary someplace else
2) does your "Robin" play one of the chubby characters at Disneyland? That sounds about your speed.
daz right - LOSERS! BAAAAAAAAAAAWAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAA.... Midgey likes to squish croc wearing losers who go to or work at Disneyland.
Its a song you idiots, get over it!
This cannot seriously be the new standard for artists to gain popularity.
BOY I LOVE ROBIN THICKE!
Robin has his father's exact voice.
Keep on dancing to the tune of hate, rape and disrespect you sheep. Summer hit for anyone who's ignorant enough to ignore the song's obvious meaning.
I'm gonna go to his CD signing and tell him what I think of his revolting lyrics to his face. Now that'll be fun!
I like his bun buns
Well, just reach out and grab them without asking. Perhaps you could drug him in a hotel room and rape him? It seems to be fine with him.
nah...would do that I would lust/rape him without drugs....
Anything goes with that guy. If you're not gonna drug him can I take the drugs?
I say Femen should protest every one of these losers concerts and disrupt his performances however possible.
You can tell he's been practicing that face he's pulling in the mirror for about 8 years. Loser!
If I ever see that guy I'm gonna kick him so hard in the balls he will sing in a high pitched voice forever afterwards.
Obviously I have already heard the song Mr Impersonator. The music is sh!t too and sounds like a fat people's song. I knew that pigs couldn't fly, I just didn't realise they could now have "summer hits" on the radio. FCUK YOU AND YOU SICK CULTURE.
You know what? I just listened to the song for the first time and it's very catchy! I changed my mind! I like it! Song of the summer!
ABOVE: PIECE OF HUMAN SH!T PRETENDING TO BE ME.
F you and your sh!tty lies!! F the "summer hit" "Blurred Lines" se-xist piece of crapp. How dare you impersonate me to encourage the rape of innocent children, I hope you are a child yourself and not a parent.
So from what I understand with the lyrics, the only time a girl is being "good" in mr Thickes mind is when she is sprawled out of her back (preferrably unconcious) with 10 d!cks in her? Tell this SOB Rebecca's coming for him. What a jerk.
I know, right!! Is it not the most condescending way to pay "hommage" to women? The guy's a c.unt trying to make himself look like a pr!ck or all his rapper male friends for credability. Great the only way to be popular today is to promote rape and objectify women. Sad times.
They say imitation should be considered flattery, not when its a se-xist pig impersonating you.
Once again, sekksizm rears its ugly head. In this case its an ugle head with a very low brow!
What an embarassment this man is. I hope he has a daughter one day and when she turns 14 and appears top-less in some pigs se-xist video, maybe he will then understand the reason people are angry about this absolutely disgusting song/video.
IF someone wrote a ra-cist song called "Good Slave" and then went on to clarify that even though the lyrics refer to ra-cial themes, and the video features black people in chains dancing around a white farmer, the song is actually liberating for black people, would anyone believe him? NO! That is exactly what has happened with "Blurred Lines" except instead of ra-cism it is pure and vulgar se-xism. How is having a bunch of 16 year old anore-xic models dance to-pless around you as you act uninterested, liberating for women? HOW MR THICKE?
For some reason se-xism is not considered as bad as rac-ism, even though domestic violence against women is increasing and more and more rapes are happening to younger women. Oh well, I guess no one cares, too busy singin about how gorls are all s-l-u-t-s. Shameful.
NO – to the objectification and se-xualisation of women.
NO – to misongynistic culture-
NO – to the selling of se-x to young people disguised as "art"
NO – to the lies this "artist" tells about the meaning of "Blurred Lines".
NO – to "Blurred Lines"
NO – to Robin Thicke
NO – to the sick buddy culture of rape
NO – to the abusive treatment of women
I've said it before and I'll keep on saying it until this song is GONE, it is a misogynistic piece of tra-sh and Mr Thicke (head) should be ashamed of himself. I know he wanted soooo badly to finally have a "hit" single (meaning a high selling pop song that will vanish in a few months), but I find it uncreative and weak for a man to sing about how woman "wants it" or is "asking for it". He says it is actually supposed to empower woman in interviews, this enrages me even more! Has he even seen the tra-sh video he made where the women are basically paraded around top-less for HIS amusement.

Good MOrning mandy from Bangladesh! I hope you have something to say to me today? (starts with S.O.R.R.?)
I call shenanigans! No such thing as a handsome black man!
no such thing as an intelligent racist. I think it's your inbreeding, Sokman. If only your parents weren't brother and sister...
