While you were working ...

Today's news you might've missed:

  • It's official: Shakira is out on "The Voice," and Christina Aguilera is back in. (Says new mom Shakira, "my poor baby's so tired [of] flying such long distances.") Usher's return, however, is more up in the air. [E!/THR]
  • Demi Lovato, in a nod to the arrival of her new album, "Demi," has gotten fresh ink. The singer and "X Factor" judge has "now I'm a warrior" inscribed on her left shoulder. [Demi Lovato's Twitter]
  • "Scandal" star Tony Goldwyn's wife is one person likely planning to avoid the series' second season finale tonight. The actor has admitted that his steamy romps with co-star Kerry Washington are "a problem" for his better half. [Us Weekly]
  • There's tons of speculation about who will and won't be coming back to "Saturday Night Live," now that Bill Hader has confirmed his exit. Funny enough, the one guy who's got a new job already - Seth Meyers - has said that he's for sure returning in the fall. [NYMag's Vulture]
  • A portrait of late "Golden Girls" star Bea Arthur has been sold for millions - $1.9 million to be exact. What makes the John Currin work standout? She's topless - even though Arthur never actually posed for the painting. [NYP]
  • On top of being cast in Jon Favreau's upcoming movie, "Chef," Scarlett Johansson has also lined up her directorial debut. (Busy girl!) The actress will helm an adaptation of Truman Capote's "Summer Crossing." [Deadline]
  • "Star Trek Into Darkness" actress Zoe Saldana might've found a new beau after an on-again, off-again situation with Bradley Cooper. The actress has been spotted with Italian artist Marco Perego. [People]
  • There's a new "Pacific Rim" trailer out, delivering even more ginormous robots and aliens from the sea - because why not?
  • And now, may we present to you the Tobias Fünke audition "sizzle" reel ("Arrested Development's" May 26 premiere can't get here fast enough, can it?): [InsertMeAnywere.biz]
