Sandra Bullock has been picky about her projects after winning an Oscar in 2010, but we'll see plenty of the actress on the big screen this year.
First up is her June comedy with Melissa McCarthy, "The Heat," which will be followed by her sci-fi thriller with George Clooney, "Gravity."
The first trailer for the October release has arrived, and while it begins with a tranquil and wondrous setting, things quickly go horrifyingly awry.
Bullock's Dr. Ryan Stone, a medical engineer on her first shuttle mission with astronaut Matt Kowalsky (Clooney), ends up stranded in space after their shuttle is destroyed.
Directed by Alfonso Cuarón ("Children of Men"), "Gravity" opens October 4.
