If "Ghostbusters" and "Men In Black" had a baby, it might look a little like the new comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges, "R.I.P.D."
As seen in the new trailer, the upcoming release follows a deceased pair of cops as they hunt down dead wrongdoers that are walking among the living to bring them to justice.
Ryan Reynolds' Nick Walker joins the R.I.P.D. - which stands for the "Rest In Peace Department" - after getting murdered on the job. As he teams up with his new partner, Roy (Bridges), he's tasked with going after ghoulish bad guys on top of searching for the person who sent him to the afterlife.
Directed by Robert Schwentke ("Red," "The Time Traveler's Wife"), "R.I.P.D." is set to open July 19. What do you think of the trailer?
there is too much production out there.....nobody would waste the time
Saw the preview Friday before I saw Oblivion...you ever watch a preview and immediately say "will watch it when it comes to On Demand", well, this movie is one of those. The preview was awful, Jeff Bridges character is ridiculous, trying to talk like an old cowboy. It is exactly like MIB...old guy, young guy, instead of aliens it is dead people...what idiot would spend production dollars on this?
you are really a just right webmaster. The web site loading pace is incredible. It kind of feels that you are doing any unique trick. In addition, The contents are masterwork. you have done a fantastic process on this matter!
See this film and you will feel R.I.P.D off.
Since the first mention of MIB ALL commens have an echo of this critique about movie which no one has seen yet, MAY NOT be like men in black. you guys have gleemed so much for a 15 sec clip it's just wierd. Why not wait until you ACTUALLY see before rushing to conclusion If this is the case every movie comming out has some elements of a lot of movies you may have seen in the past . Hell is Brad Pitts "War Z" movie a rip off of the "Living Dead"?
Learn too take a loss in production
Since it has Jeff Bridges, it pains me to say it but, BORING
Rest in Peace Department?
Looks like a cross between Men in Black and Tombstone
