The "Snow White and the Huntsman" sequel Kristen Stewart hinted was happening back in December is officially on the calendar.
Universal announced Tuesday at CinemaCon that a sequel to last summer's part-fairy tale, part-medieval action film, "Snow White and the Huntsman," is being planned for a 2015 release. It's currently simply titled, "Snow White and the Huntsman 2."
The first "Huntsman" brought in $396 million worldwide after its June 2012 release, enough for the studios to bring back Stewart and her seven dwarves, according to SlashFilm.
Yet the movie isn't as well-known for its box office haul as much as Stewart's off-screen exploits. The actress issued a public apology last summer after reports suggested that she had an affair with the film's director, Rupert Sanders.
But with all that in the past, Stewart seems pretty excited to once again bite into the poison apple. "Oh, it’s gonna be f—in' amazing," Stewart told IndieWire in December. "I'm so excited about it, it’s crazy."
