The cast for Michael Bay's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" reboot has found a new member.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Will Arnett has joined the live-action/CGI hybrid in one of the lead roles, although it's being kept quiet as to which he's landed.
The reboot will feature mutant turtles from an alien race rather than ones that have had a run-in with radioactive ooze, and Bay's described his version of the foursome as "tough, edgy, funny and completely loveable."
Alan Ritchson ("Smallville") will voice Raphael; Jeremy Howard ("Galaxy Quest"; "Accepted") will be Donatello; Noel Fisher ("Battle: Los Angeles") landed the role of Michaelangelo; and Pete Ploszek has the role of Leonardo.
In a fairly surprising move considering their history, Bay tapped his former "Transformers" actress Megan Fox for a lead role as well, reportedly to portray the turtles' human friend, April O'Neil.
The roles of Splinter and the villainous Shredder have yet to be filled.
Produced by Bay and directed by Jonathan Liebesman, "TMNT" is expected to power into theaters on June 6, 2014.
