The set of Natalie Portman's "Jane Got a Gun" must have a revolving door: The initial director walked out the first day on set, and now that she's been replaced, the movie reportedly has to find a replacement for Jude Law, who himself was said to be a replacement for Michael Fassbender. [HuffPo]
CBS isn't letting "CSI" or Ted Danson slip through its fingers. The network's renewed the crime series for its 14th season, and ensured Danson will be around for another two years. [Deadline]
The 1977 live-action and animation film "Pete's Dragon" is getting a reboot, because why the heck not? We've already plumbed the depths of just about everything else. [Vulture]
