Why Kristen Stewart had crutches at the OscarsIf you missed Kristen Stewart arriving on the red carpet with crutches, you couldn't miss the "Twilight" star's limp when she presented the production design Oscar along with Daniel Radcliffe. MTV even noticed that the 22-year-old was only wearing one shoe.
According to Stewart's make-up artist, Beau Nelson, the actress hurt herself after stepping on glass. "[Stewart] cut the ball of her foot, quite severely, on glass two days ago," Nelson told People magazine. Although she was photographed with crutches, Stewart didn't rely on them as she posed for photographers on the red carpet in a strapless Reem Acra gown. It probably didn't hurt that she had best actress nominee Jennifer Lawrence, as seen in the Twitpic below, ready to lend a helping hand:

I know this sounds horrible but after watching her performances in all the Twilight movies I am constantly left with the thought "Who the hell did she screw to get that role?" (We know who she screwed to get the on in "Snow White")! Sorry but this girl cannot act; she is just dreadful!

It's not the fact that she had crutches at the Oscars I had a problem with- Girl can't help that she cut her foot. It was the ILL FITTING Gown that was my issue. You are in the company of the Oscars and you can't get a dress that fits correctly?? I am used to her aloofness and somewhat awkwardness in the public eye- but can't forgive the dress.
Agreed. The gown is unimpressive. Actually...everything about her appearance (hair and makeup) is rather dull. It looks like she forgot she had to be somewhere and threw this on....and kind of combed through her hair...looked in the mirror and gave herself a thumbs up.

I think Kristin Stewart is beautiful. I don't think any of us have seen enough of her,on the screen,to know YET,if she is a good or bad actress. I wish her all the best!
Wrong-she has appeared on-screen many times and the verdict is in. She is wooden and untalented, and worst of all: boring.
All twilights, snow white and the huntsman, on the road, the runaways, welcome to the rileys, adventureland, jumper, in the land of women, the messangers, panic room.... the list goes on. Shes been in plenty to know she is not very talented. She is gorgeous though.
I watched her announce the Oscar. That girl is exciting as watching paint dry. Why does she get any movie offers in the first place? That last Twilight received the Razzie award for worst picture. Not a good thing for her resume, I would think.

kristen knows when too drop the f bomb and when to not do it......she still received the most famous movie offer of all time. after a fair amount of years kristen does not use it with the boyfriend, press agents, paparazzi...etc...

Some awful things being said about her above...but no one seems to simple state the obvious. She is a terrible actress and is obviously very uncomfortable in front of the media. I think she secretly realizes this and her stumble into fame with the Twilight saga makes her feel inadequate.
I agree with most of what you say. She is definately a terrible actress. But I have a problem with the fact that every time you see her , she is a dissheveled mess and looks like she is stoned .

I just don't think she needs to curse all the time. Reports are half of her language and speach is just the F word.
She is an adult and pays her own way, so she is free to use as many cuss words as she wants. I just think they really don't make her stronger, more talented, or prettier. In our psychology class the teacher said people use curse words because it makes them feel more powerful or stronger. It shows they are very insecure.
