Will Arnett lands role in CBS pilot

While we wait to see what becomes of NBC's "Up All Night," one of the series' stars is picking up work at CBS.

According to TV Guide, Will Arnett has landed the lead in an untitled pilot sitcom from Greg Garcia.

Arnett, 37, will play a recently divorced fellow named Jack, whose life gets complicated when his parents have marital problems of their own.
Garcia ("Raising Hope") is on board to write and executive produce.

With Arnett landing pilot work, it's unclear how this will affect the future of "Up All Night," which was reportedly being revamped. Christina Applegate, who starred with Arnett as a party-ready couple adjusting to parenthood, announced her departure from the show earlier this month.

“It’s been a great experience working on 'Up All Night,' but the show has taken a different creative direction and I decided it was best for me to move on to other endeavors," Applegate said in a statement. "Working with Lorne Michaels has been a dream come true and I am grateful he brought me into his TV family. I will miss the cast, producers and crew, and wish them the best always.”

The show's creator, Emily Spivey, already left in January, and Maya Rudolph, the third draw in the series, is reportedly expecting her fourth child.

I am just appauld by this lack of intelligence from strangers who do not even know these people. You have to understand ,If you can that, when you say something so horrible about someone else, it only makes you look like a complete idiot. I am sure you are laughing about my comment, but then what more can we expect. more ignorance and stupidity.
