David O. Russell, Jennifer Lawrence together againJudging from the Oscar nods "Silver Linings Playbook" has earned, Jennifer Lawrence and David O. Russell make a great match. The two nominees seem to know that, as they've teamed up again for a new movie. 85th Academy Awards: The nominees According to the Hollywood Reporter, Russell, who's up for a best director Oscar at this weekend's ceremony, will lead best actress nominee Lawrence in an upcoming film called "The Ends of the Earth."
THR describes the drama as a "fact-based love story" about an oil magnate who loses everything after he's caught in an affair. It's unclear what role 22-year-old Lawrence will play in the feature, but it is clear that Russell is on board with her casting. “Jennifer possesses a self-deprecating humor that made all of the cast and crew feel at ease. She is that kind of person," Russell told the magazine in a statement. "She is the most dedicated person I know. She is devoted to her family, and they have been the true inspiration for her character and integrity. Her acting is effortless, and she always makes it look easy.” Hearing that, it's no surprise that Lawrence is also expected to make a cameo in Russell's next movie, which features another "Silver Linings" cast member: Bradley Cooper. Cooper and Lawrence, of course, are quite familiar with each other's work: the best actor nominee has also worked with the actress on the upcoming drama "Serena."
