Russell Brand on Katy Perry dating John MayerRussell Brand appears to be at peace with ex-wife Katy Perry dating John Mayer. Howard Stern asked the comedian about the couple when he stopped by his Sirius XM radio show on Monday. “What do you make of your ex-wife dating John Mayer? Doesn't she know that he's a worse womanizer than you?” Stern joked. “Worse or better, depending on how you view it,” Brand retorted, at which point Stern said, “He's a better womanizer, then.” Stern teasingly tried to get Brand to say something salacious about Perry, suggesting it would increase ratings for his comedic FX talk show “Brand X with Russell Brand.” But the Brit would not oblige. “That woman was perfect from top to bottom,” he said. Regarding Brand’s personal life, “I’m not dating anybody actually, I would like a romance,” he said. “[I’m] not so much playing the field. It’s just going through life, meditating, doing yoga, concentrating on this TV show and trying to find a nice wife.”

and why because she is number 1 and has the personality and always wins. who the heck would want a diane lane representing him. alot of women are used and do not even know it. that's a shame. they become addictive tools and basically not good examples. we want too show women can be women and get respect in jobs, careers and find true original men who love them...not these used women that are around nowadays...

i was really rooting for katy perry and russell brand, so i was very sad when they broke up. as far as public divorces though, i think it could have been much worse. you have to respect a man who doesn't speak bad about his ex, especially when i'm sure every interview he does they try to get him to dish dirt (and vice versa for katy). i can't imagine having to go through a divorce in the public eye.

Well, he didn't knock her physique, but he sort of threw a jab at her personality there, by saying he wants to find a NICE wife. Personally, I've seen those infamous pictures of her without her five inches of makeup plastered on her face, and she is no beauty. She is quite homely to look at, and I imagine waking up to that after a while gets tiring.

It's a shame Russell and Katy broke up. They seemed to have a really strong connection, but the grind of touring, making movies and other commitments just didn't let it happen. Had they stepped away from the stardom for a couple of years, I think they would have been alright. Whatever the case, Katy can do a heckuva lot better than John Mayer.

Grant Bowler did a great job. If you doubt this, watch some video of Richard Burton, his interviews rather than his movie roles, because, don’t forget, Bowler was depicting him in his everyday life.
Lindsay’s Taylor wasn’t quite as effective, but it was pretty good for a poorly-scripted TV movie.
It’s a real shame that Lindsay has squandered so much of her career, and continues to sabotage it with her antics.
