How 'Movie 43' landed all those A-list starsIf you're anything like us, you saw the trailers for "Movie 43" and immediately took notice of how many major stars were cast to do ridiculous things. From Halle Berry to Emma Stone to Oscar nominee Hugh Jackman, the comedy has an ensemble cast to rival all of those movies about holidays. So when we caught up with producer Peter Farrelly at "Movie 43's" premiere on Wednesday, we had to ask how they handled casting.
"It was a very hard movie to make, because we only had a budget of $6 million," said Farrelly, who also serves as a director on the project along with Elizabeth Banks, Brett Ratner and nine others. They wanted it to be a series of interconnected comedy shorts, "and we wanted to use big talent who doesn't usually do this kind of movie: Kate Winslet, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry," Farrelly went on. "What we did was, we literally would shoot for three days - do a short - and then we'd shut down for four months," he explained. "And then we'd wait until they were available [and] go to them wherever they were - Australia, Europe, New York, L.A. Go to them, shoot three days, close down for three months." In all, the movie "took three-and-a-half years to make," he said. "And it's a miracle, we actually did come in under budget." "Movie 43" opens January 25. |

Totally agree with you on this movie! I cant even believe all these actors/ actresses would agree to doing this!
If you are interested here my blog http://filmchatrr.blogspot.ca/ I also give my opinion on the movie.
See "Licor 43."
It's a Farrelly movie, for God's sake! Get over it.
If you thought the drunk chick sneezing and crapp.ing all over the bathtub wall in Hall Pass was funny – if the "frank and beans" in There's Something About Mary made you cringe – if Stiffler, drinking beer with spunk in it in American Pie made you gag – or Austin Power's cup of "nutty" coffee made you quit drinking Joe – Then this movie is definitely for you. A-List stars doing nasty stuff.
AMAZING how they got away with it!!
The only thing that would have made the movie any better (worse) than it is, is if they had Dennis' crazy brother Randy Quaid in it.
Interesting concept
Went with my brother to see this movie. I didn't see the previews. He saw only part of a preview and assumed with all the talent it would be interesting.... well, after 10 minutes we walked out. It's hard to believe trash like this would even be considered by some of these actors... I'm sure people will talk about its return on investment, but hopefully it won't spawn more movies which stoop so low for supposed humor. I want my 10 minutes back.... and I know my brother wants his $20 back.
Read Roger Ebert's review. SO funny!
So from what I've heard this movie was absolute trash. I knew it sucked by just watching the trailer, the only movies I'm looking forward to this year are Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel.
Sean William Scott and the kids in the bottom left hand corner are the only one who have the appropriate facial expressions for this movie poster. Everyone else looks like they were posing for their next E! interview.
sorry
Seth is in it...it will make millions

a sneek and a snoop is good when you can't figure it out--you had it in the bag from dey 1...
roars of laughter in he kitchen.....
It's about a middle aged mother of 3 who is on a crusadde to educate america's use of the dangers of fecal poisoning. Feces belong in a swere and not on television glorified for the youth to idolize!
Ma'am your fear of fecal poisoning is alarming. Dung is not something to fear but rather something one should appreciate as it has many practical uses. Uses like fertilizer to help land grow crops, medicinal purposes, and of course entertainment. Butt dumplings are always good for laughs in many many ways. And after all laughter truly is the best medicine. So ma'am i suggest you attempt to get over your fear and try to appreciate your turds. Perhaps you could start by going out and sling shotting your stink nuggets at your neighbors. Not only would that be a humorous surprise but it will show them you care as well.

I wonder if it is like The Kentucky Fried Movie, that was a movie of lots of shorts. Kind of like Robot Chicken.
Don't forget "Amazon Women on the Moon" ! Hilarious !
Looks hilarious... I think. Not sure what its about either but the trailer looks funny. With a 6mil budget, tickets to see it should cost about 2.50
Dumness
What is the movie about? I seen the previews, but can't figure out the plot? Does anyone know?
