Inauguration Day rewind: Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Jamie Foxx performIt was Jennifer Hudson's turn to wow the audience as the President and First Lady shared their first dance at Monday's Commander in Chief's Ball, one of two inaugural balls held Monday evening.
Hudson was one of many artists who participated in the celebrations for Obama's second inauguration, which included appearances from Brad Paisley, John Legend, Katy Perry, Marc Anthony, Soundgarden, Stevie Wonder and more. Jamie Foxx was tapped to sing Ray Charles' "I Can't Stop Loving You" for Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden as they took a spin on the dance floor. (Remember, "Django Unchained" actor Foxx won a best actor Oscar for his portrayal of Charles in the 2004 movie "Ray.") Alicia Keys also had a turn at the piano for her performance of "Girl On Fire," which got a remix to "Obama's On Fire": And Fun. livened up the room with their Grammy-nominated single "We Are Young": What did you think of the performances? Did you have a favorite? Sound off below! |

Lupe fiasco's was the best! at the pre-inaugeral. take that Obama!
Jennifer Hudson was fantastic.
Those of you in this thread who dissed her need to grow up and get a life.
And CNN should block you from posting your disgusting comments.
i agree total waste.
I want a tax rebate for the cost of all this waste of time and effort.
I'd like to respond to the question posed in the article "What did you think of the performances? Did you have a favorite?" since no one else has. My favorite performance of the night was by Jamie Foxx as he serenaded Joe and Jill Biden with "I Can't Stop Loving You." Just Beautiful!!!
they danced to that song too...
First of all. Grow the hell up people. Second, for the love of god, please learn how to spell properly and to speak (type) like you actually have an education. (This is for the yahoo's not the folks who replied with some actual point.) Third, its extremely unappetizing to have to read the fodder posted here. Fourth, it was Beyonce, not JLo who lip-synced, which is a common practice due to several very valid reasons, like YoYo Ma who had to record his performance, pre-ceremony in 2009 because of the weather. And Finally, Don't you (the yahoos) have homework to do?
I agree. It is slways better to be kind. Others should learn by our good examples.
They said J Lo was lip synching. She should be more polite. Then she could maybe still be on American Idol.
I don't like the two pieces of p oo dancing in that photo. It grosses me out.
when someone makes a special effort to hurt jennifer....loose lips sink ship....its that special effort that a person puts into to hurt jennifer that will cause her too make sure everyone knows about.....the "weak" as you call them
have rights too–
Jennipher eats d ooooooodey. The runny smelly kind.
Jennipher is in my homeroom. She is always mean because she is still sleepy. She needs to drink a coca cola to get waked up like a normal kid.
Am not ! I'm nice in homeroom ! I'm just doing my homework afore class !
It's Ann that's mean – she is always telling on everyone. Plus she is smelly like diarreah.
small dick =3 nasty and rude and doesn't care
big dick ======3 polite
Moochelle's fat behind is gross.
that's true...especially with that constand clogged up nose.,
It sickened me watching that mess. These are end times for the United States. Those wanting a handout outnumber the workers and producers.
It's not a handout. It' s people being unable to find work to sustain them. People who worked all their lives are hurting. Sure there are lazy people in the world, but PLEASE for those of us blessed enough to still have a job. STOP looking down your noses at others. Trial and tribulation can befall even the best of us.
agreed.
