While you were working ...

Today's news you might've missed:

  • If you thought a prequel to "Sex and the City" was a fantastic idea, now would be the time to start showing your support. The CW's "Carrie Diaries" premiered on Monday to an average of just 1.6 million viewers, and the demographics ratings weren't pretty, either. [EW]
  • Victor Garber (known to us forever as Jack Bristow from "Alias") has confirmed that yes, he's gay - and, by the way, taken. He's been with artist Rainer Andreesen for 14 years. [E!]
  • The latest on Russell Crowe and Dita Von Teese, after the New York Post's Page Six reported that they were seen having a "couple's massage" together last month: They're just "Friends, not lovers." [Us Weekly]
  • As evidenced by our diets, we're still months away from beach season, but we already know what we'll be packing for a trip: Dan Brown's releasing his fourth book, "Inferno," in May. [BBC]
  • The combination of Steve Carell and Steve Buscemi in a comedy sounds magical enough, but the even better news is that we're just weeks away from its premiere. SXSW will screen "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" on opening night. [NYTimes]

Megan Fox keeps the faith
