Hollywood's stylists clearly worked overtime for the Golden Globes, as the red carpet was filled with stunners - from show hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to "The Master" actress Amy Adams to "Scandal" star Kerry Washington.
But all eyes were on new mom Claire Danes, who walked the red carpet in a red gown a month after giving birth to her first child with Hugh Dancy.
"He turns a month old tomorrow exactly," Danes told CNN on the carpet. "He’s upstairs with my parents, it’s my first venture out into the world."
Danes is nominated for a best lead actress in a TV drama Golden Globe thanks to her work on Showtime's addictive "Homeland," one of the must-watch dramas on the air.
"We’re still kind of overwhelmed by the success of the show," Danes said. "We’re so cloistered in Charlotte, [North Carolina], where we film, and it’s always a shock when we re-enter the world and find people so invested."
As for her gown, Danes revealed to E! that she's wearing Versace, a last-minute fitting that worked out wonderfully.
"I tried it on for the first time last night and they did a miraculous job. I tried it on around 9 p.m. last night. I just wasn’t available – I’ve been in Toronto. There were some other options, but Versace was kind of enough to make this for me," Danes said. "[I'm] hoping I don’t leak."
