The new trailer for next April's "Scary Movie 5" is intended to make you giggle, but it might've failed to elicit chuckles from one of its stars, Lindsay Lohan.
According to TMZ, the 26-year-old wasn't thrilled to see that the clip makes light of her legal trouble.
In the two-minute trailer, Ashley Tisdale, Simon Rex, Erica Ash, Katt Williams and more run through scenes meant to spoof found footage ghost stories like those in the "Paranormal Activity" franchise.
At one point, Rex and Tisdale find "security footage" taken by the previous owners of their apparently haunted home. Cut to Lohan and Sheen in bed, with Lohan telling Sheen she's scared:
But even as paranormal disturbances fling Sheen across the room, it turns out Lohan isn't screaming in terror over ghosts - she's screaming over "breaking news" of her probation being revoked. TMZ reports that the working script was supposed to use her movie "Herbie: Fully Loaded" as the punchline instead.
On a more serious note, there's also a first glimpse at Bradley Cooper, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes in the indie crime drama "The Place Beyond the Pines."
Re-teaming with "Blue Valentine" director Derek Cianfrance, Gosling grabbed attention on the film circuit earlier this year in his role as a motorcycle stunt rider who turns to crime in an effort to support his baby boy.
Cooper, who's currently racking up acclaim in this year's "Silver Linings Playbook," stars as a rookie cop who tries to interfere with Gosling's plans.
"The Place Beyond the Pines" will open in limited release on March 29, with "Scary Movie 5" landing in theaters April 12.
