'Gangnam Style' is most watched video in historyIf you have yet to watch Psy's "Gangnam Style" video you may be the only one. According to Billboard, it just became the first video to garner more than 1 billion views on the Internet (cue the wailing from Justin Bieber fans). The video recently overtook Bieber's "Baby" video as the most watched on YouTube, breaking the teen heartthrob's former record of 803 million views. Billboard calculates that "Gangnam Style" is watched 76.4 times per second. They cite Next Big Sound in theorizing that, at its currrent rate, Bieber's video won't cross 1 billion views until 2014.

Uhm actually, in youtube you can watch a video more than 1 time but it still says you've watched it once, because its from the same user. So, it might be more the a billion, Second, some people don't have computer access in the world; many don't. Your just one of the people who are lucky enough. After 6 months, Psy's video still makes me laugh.. each person has these little facial expressions that are hilarious!! And he's been making music for 12 years, it just shows that if you prepare hard enough and put your heart into your efforts that you will be ready to take advantage of an opportunity when it comes! If you see typical Kpop videos (like Orange Caramel's Lipstick, Hyuna's Bubble Pop, or B1A4 Tried to Walk) it's surprising that his non-typical comedy is the one that hit so big. Good for him.

As the article said, I'm guessing I'm one of the only ones that's never seen the video, nor really knew what it was. I kept seeing all sorts of mentions of Gangnam on forums, in games, parodies, then this article, and I kept asking, "what the heck is Gangnam Style"!? I finally just watched the video on YouTube, and not that it's bad, but how in the heck did it become the most watched video ever!? I feel like my parents when they didn't understand my music growing up... but this is like 100 times over... how!? I would have thought Rick Roll(ed) would have reached this milestone far earlier, lol.

The photo, which I can't find, posed the question...if this video hits 1 billion on 12/21/2012, is the prediction true and will the world end? I think it's funny, but he did hit 1 billion ON 12/21/2012.
