Kelly Clarkson is engagedKelly Clarkson shared some exciting news with her fans over the weekend. The 30-year-old singer posted on Twitter Saturday that her boyfriend of roughly one year, Brandon Blackstock, popped the question that day. According to People magazine, Clarkson and Blackstock, a Nashville-based talent manager, began dating in late 2011.
"I'M ENGAGED!!!!! I wanted y'all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night!" she posted Saturday. "I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever." For the curious, Clarkson also shared a photo of her engagement ring, which features a sizable yellow canary diamond in the center and smaller diamonds surrounding it. It would seem the "Stronger" songstress has been anticipating this day. She told Ellen DeGeneres on "Ellen" last month of her now-fiancé, "we are totally going to get married. We love each other. We are totally going to get married one day." Glad to see her prediction came true.

I am so happy for Kelly and Brandon. They are so adorable together. I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness. I have never seen her so happy. For those idiots calling her a home wrecker. Get your information straight before trashing others. Brandon was divorced when he and Kelly started dating. They are so happy together. Nothing you lame morons say can change that. She looks beautiful and happy. Her voice is incredible. I would like the ring more if it wasn't yellow diamond. Kelly loves yellow diamonds so that is all that matters.

Why did people give LeAnn Rimes crap for being a homewrecker and Kelly gets a free pass and a boat load of congrats. Kelly is nothing more than a homewrecker. Also, did she really try to tump the news of the kids and teachers that were killed at school with her untimely announcement of her homewrecking angagement. While 99% of the nation was mourning the dead children and teachers Friday night, she says it was " the happiest night of my life". She's lame.

She didn't choose the timing of the proposal and in case you hadn't noticed the world did not stop turning. I think its nice to hear some good news after all that bad. But really, you need to get over yourself.
Mike you sound as though you know Kelly personally. You sound jealous and bitter. To suggest that Kelly somehow timed her announcement to coincide with the mass shootings is stupid and ignorant.
