A new evil revealed on 'American Horror Story'The final "American Horror Story: Asylum" of 2012 followed up on the events of last week's twisted holiday episode. We started out in the present day, where we met Johnny (Dylan McDermott, in a psychiatric role reversal from the first season), who was meeting with a psychiatrist.

Paul McCartney jams with Nirvana at 12.12.12 concertIn a room full of headliners, from Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel to Roger Waters and Alicia Keys, Paul McCartney and Nirvana stood apart from the rest at the 12.12.12 Sandy relief benefit concert on Wednesday. Word spread ahead of the event that McCartney was going to join members of the influential rock group for a reunion set, but it was still a thrilling surprise to see the rocker take the stage with Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear.

Nominees announced for 70th annual Golden GlobesThe nominees for the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards were announced Thursday by Jessica Alba, Megan Fox and Ed Helms. Steven Spielberg's epic on the 16th president, "Lincoln," stood out in the film categories with seven Golden Globe nominations, followed closely by Ben Affleck's "Argo" and Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained." On the TV side, HBO's "Game Change" continues to shine this awards season, picking up a total of five nods. Showtime's thriller "Homeland" earned four, including two nods for its leads, Claire Danes and Damian Lewis. The awards ceremony, to be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, will air January 13 at 8 p.m. ET/5p.m. PT. Check out some of the nominees below - who do you think are clear bets? |
