HBO at work on a 'Game Change' sequel

Most of you have probably joked around about who could star in a "Game Change 2" movie about the 2012 presidential election, but now it's time to start casting in earnest.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, HBO has optioned the rights to an upcoming book on the 2012 elections from Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, the same writers who wrote the best-seller "Game Change," which HBO later adapted into the award-winning TV movie.

Shia LaBeouf set for Broadway debut

Newly defined indie actor Shia LaBeouf has set his sights on the stage.

The 26-year-old actor, who renounced the studio system earlier this year, is ready to make his debut on Broadway in the spring. He'll star alongside Alec Baldwin in "Orphans," according to The New York Times.

Few Hollywood stars have the versatility of Leonardo DiCaprio when it comes to taking on a wide range of characters, and yet the award-winning actor doesn't hesitate to name his favorite role in his lengthy and diverse career.

"If I had to choose one, it would probably be 'The Aviator,' playing Howard Hughes," DiCaprio told CNN at the premiere of "Django Unchained."

Landing on the cover of a national magazine isn't that typical for a two-month-old, but other than that, Drew Barrymore's keeping it traditional when it comes to raising daughter Olive.

The firstborn of Barrymore and her husband Will Kopelman, whom she married in June, made her debut on the cover of People magazine this week. Barrymore and Kopelman welcomed Olive September 26.

Jamie Foxx's Ding Dong deal?

Jamie Foxx not only had "Saturday Night Live" viewers raving about his appearance on the December 8 broadcast, but his second hosting gig on the show may have also led to a new deal with Hostess.

The news about Hostess Brands’ sudden bankruptcy and closure has caused snack fans everywhere to panic about the demise of the Twinkie, and on Saturday Foxx weighed in with "SNL's" Seth Meyers as an “out-of-the-box” character - a Hostess Ding Dong.
