From “infinity and beyond” to “a galaxy far, far away,” “Toy Story 3” screenwriter Michael Arndt could pen the script for the new “Star Wars” movie.
Arndt, the Oscar-winning writer behind 2006’s “Little Miss Sunshine” and the “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” which is due out in November 2013, was hired to write an extended outline for “Episode 7,” according to Variety.
It’s likely that he’ll also write a draft of the screenplay, to include “a much older Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo,” the site reports.
What do you think of a possible Arndt-penned “Episode 7”?
