Jennifer Lawrence landed on the short list of Hollywood’s most lucrative leading ladies after earning an Oscar nomination for her performance in 2010’s “Winter’s Bone.”
She's since defeated evil in “X-Men: First Class”; emerged victorious in “The Hunger Games”; and been terrorized in “The House at the End of the Street."
“Acting, films, scripts, is literally the only thing I'm 100% confident in,” the actress said in Elle magazine’s December issue. “I know what I'm doing. I just understand it, and I love it. When I'm on set, that's when I feel the most at home and in control."
Lawrence, who will next appear alongside Bradley Cooper in “Silver Linings Playbook,” to hit theaters on November 21, also dished on her love life. She's currently dating her best friend, and fellow “X-Men: First Class” mutant, Nicholas Hoult.
“He's my favorite person to be around and makes me laugh harder than anybody,” Larence said. “We can eat Cheetos and watch beach volleyball and we turn into two perverted Homer Simpsons, like, 'Oh, she's got a nice ass.' I never thought we'd have such different opinions on asses.”
Speaking of her sometimes-likeness to Home Simpson, Lawrence said, “I never know what's going to come out of my mouth, and it's horrible.”
“When I get older,” the 22 year old said, “I'll be more mature and poised. And I'll have control over my mouth. One day, I'm going to grow up.”
