Brooke Burke-Charvet: I'm battling thyroid cancer

Brooke Burke-Charvet revealed she’s battling thyroid cancer via The ModernMom’s YouTube channel on Thursday.

The “Dancing with the Stars” host had remained mum after writing in July that she had a nodule on her thyroid biopsied. In the YouTube video, she said she needed time to wrap her head around the news, but that she wanted people to find out directly from her.

After tweeting her love for New York last week as Superstorm Sandy barreled across the Northeast, Lady Gaga is making a grand gesture.

“A letter and a gift to New York and the American @RedCross,” she tweeted on Wednesday, followed by a link to her site, Littlemonsters.com.

James Deen on California measure requiring condoms in porn

The adult film industry is in a bit of a pickle after Measure B, requiring performers to wear condoms while filming, passed in Los Angeles County on Tuesday.

Many people involved with the porn industry have spoken out against the ordinance, including 26-year-old adult film star James Deen, who stars alongside Lindsay Lohan in Bret Easton Ellis' “The Canyons,” due out in 2013.

Wednesday night's episode of "American Horror Story: Asylum" likely appeased viewers who complained that the show has been too tame so far.

For a season which has featured aliens, people possessed by the devil, masked serial killers and grotesque creatures living in the woods, it's not surprising that they added Nazis to the mix.

Miley Cyrus reveals wedding plans: It has to be perfect

Although Billy Ray Cyrus appears to think otherwise, Miley Cyrus is planning to marry "Hunger Games" star Liam Hemsworth only once.

The 19-year-old clarifies in an interview on "Ellen" Thursday that she's not having multiple weddings, as her dad recently hinted to Us Weekly. Perhaps that was wishful thinking on Billy Ray's part, as he joked that he was angling to get a movie role or three out of this Hemsworth-Cyrus union.
