Oscar-nominated director Darren Aronofsky likely didn’t expect a real-life superstorm to shut down production of “Noah.”

The Russell Crowe-starrer, about a man who builds an ark to survive an impending flood, is one of many New York-based projects affected by Sandy.

Celebs share concern for victims of Sandy

Celebrities shared their concern for those on the East Coast at the Hollywood premiere of Disney’s “Wreck-It Ralph” on Monday.

“[I’ve] been watching the weather channel non-stop and I feel like I’m there, and then I turn and there’s just blue skies and sunshine,” Sarah Silverman, who voices Vanellope von Schweetz in the animated 3-D flick told CNN. “And I feel guilty, but not too guilty.”

The show must go on: Letterman, Fallon tape without audiences

“Thank you very much for joining us here in the Ed Sullivan Shelter,” David Letterman said to no one in particular as he opened Monday’s “Late Show.”

With New Yorkers preparing for Superstorm Sandy, which meant either evacuating or staying put inside, late night hosts Letterman and Jimmy Fallon taped the “Late Show” and “Late Night,” respectively, without studio audiences.

Taylor Swift to co-host Grammy nominations concert with LL Cool J

Taylor Swift will announce the Grammy nominations with veteran host LL Cool J, the Recording Academy announced on Monday.

With 12 nominations and six wins under her belt, Swift is no stranger to the “countdown to music’s biggest night.” The singer-songwriter also helped LL Cool J host the first ever Grammy nominations concert in 2008.

‘Homeland’: 'It's the lies that undo us'

[Editor's Note: This post contains spoilers for the October 28 episode of "Homeland."]

Last night’s episode, entitled “Q & A” opened with a shackled Brody in the custody of the Central Intelligence Agency. Estes figured he, Quinn, Saul and Carrie had approximately 24 hours before Abu Nazir noticed his absence. They feared Nazir might either ramp up efforts on an attack on America or pick a new target.

Brody tried to play the “I’m a Congressman/you can’t kidnap me” card but Quinn shut him down by saying, “Actually we can. Thanks to you and your colleagues in Congress we have fairly broad powers to detain and interrogate.”
