Today's news you might've missed:

  • As Leighton Meester says goodbye to Blair Waldorf, her character on The CW’s “Gossip Girl,” she’ll also say arrivederci to her long locks. The actress recently debuted a short, choppy bob. [People]
  • We’re not yet sure what Kimye will don this Halloween, but we did get a glimpse of the pair in costume. Kardashian tweeted a picture from 2008 of her and Kanye dressed as Princess Leia and a Stormtrooper, respectively, from “Star Wars.” [Twitter]
  • Lindsay Lohan and her publicist Steve Honig have parted ways after about a year and a half together. E! did us a favor and recounted each of the LiLo incidents Honig got to witness firsthand. (There are a few.) [E!]
  • You’ll have to wait a few more days before you can get your hands on Ne-Yo’s upcoming studio album, “R.E.D.” But in the meantime, you can listen to him on the sequel track to “Yes We Can,” which is not officially affiliated with the Obama campaign. [Mashable]

Taylor Swift on track to set record amid breakup rumors

Taylor Swift is on track to join the very short list of artists and groups who’ve had back-to-back albums sell a million units in a week.

In the Nielsen SoundScan era, which dates back to 1991, just the Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync and Eminem have accomplished the fete, each with albums releasing between 1999 and 2002, Billboard reports.

If Swift’s “Red” hits the million mark by Sunday, the country-pop princess will become the first artist in a decade, and first ever female, to achieve the same success. Her last studio album, “Speak Now,” sold more than a million units during its debut week in November 2010.

But before we go deeming this Swift’s (potential) “best week ever,” we should note, the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer reportedly parted ways with beau Conor Kennedy, according to US Weekly.

Celebs want candy

Khloe Kardashian loves Sugar Daddies, Ryan Gosling went for Bonkers

Kate Krader (@kkrader on Twitter) is Food & Wine's restaurant editor. When she tells us where to find our culinary heart's desire, we listen up.

It seems there’s some suspect candy going around this Halloween season. I don’t mean fake or counterfeit candy bars, where the names would be just barely misspelled, like Reeze’s Peanut Butter Cups or Buttterfingers. (They would be sold next to the bags embossed with names like Chanal and Burbery.) I’m speaking instead of the new, healthier candy, made without corn syrup, GMOs and artificial colors and flavors.

I’m super impressed with these efforts, but I also have big love for the classic, bad-for-you candy. So, I can’t help but admire the celebrities who are huge candy lovers too.

And now, if you see Ryan Gosling or Justin Bieber trick-or-treating in your 'hood, you’re prepared.

'30 Rock' tries to predict the election

Thursday night’s “30 Rock” boiled undecided voters down to one key demographic: Jenna Maroney fans.

Ahead of Jenna performing of her Jimmy Buffet-esque hit single, “Catching Crabs in Paradise” (yes both kinds of crabs) on the “Today” show, her “crab catchers” gathered outside NBC to “unwindulax.”

See Kidman as Grace Kelly, Saldana as Nina Simone

After patiently waiting to get a peek of Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly in Olivier Dahan’s “Grace of Monaco,” critics weren't disappointed by the actress' transformation.

Kidman wore her strawberry blonde locks in a polished updo, and covered her shoulder with a fur shawl while filming the biography in St. Barts, France, earlier this week.
