While you were working ...

Today's news you might've missed:

  • This Justin Timberlake/Jessica Biel wedding has been "happening this week!" for what feels like forever, but here's a new twist: the gossip is that they'll tie the knot in southern Italy. [Us Weekly]
  • What are you doing tonight? If you're interested in scaring up some laughs, the "Mystery Science Theater 3000" stars are making it their business to make you howl with their live commentary of 1944's "Voodoo Man." The fun starts at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. [Ustream.tv]
  • We love a good time period drama, so we hope we'll love Frank Darabont's '40s-era series about the battle between the LAPD and the mob scene even more. Called "L.A. Noir," it's received a six-episode pickup at TNT. [A.V. Club]
  • "Donnie Brasco" writer Paul Attanasio has been tapped to give a contemporary feel to the "Scarface" script. We know, we know - it sounds like sacrilege, but it's not intended to be a remake or a sequel, so there's that. [Deadline]
  • The Janis Joplin biopic that has Amy Adams attached may have found its director in Lee Daniels. [THR]
  • When your movie franchise has thus far brought in over $1 billion at the box office, you can spend a few million on a home that'll make you next-door neighbors with your ex, like Kristen Stewart did. [E!]
  • Those "Pretty Little Liars" do enjoy a good swim, but it doesn't look like Olympic champ Missy Franklin will have to hop into the pool during her appearance in an upcoming episode. Instead, it sounds like she'll play herself, and surprise Shay Mitchell's Emily by showing up at a local coffee shop. [TVBytheNumbers]

Megan Fox, Brian Austin Green welcome baby boy

Adele is probably somewhere taking notes on Megan Fox's stealthy delivery.

'Bachelorette' breakup: Emily and Jef are over

Perhaps "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" should start airing a disclaimer: What happens on the show stays on the show, since some relationships don't seem to last once it's over.

It's been rumored that "Bachelorette" Emily Maynard and the guy who won her heart on the ABC series, Jef Holm, have ended their engagement, and she's since confirmed that to People magazine.

"I am sorry to tell you that Jef and I have, indeed, parted ways," Maynard says in a lengthy statement. "I have nothing but respect and love for Jef and his family, but ultimately we are just at different points in our lives."
